Living a Life of Abundance(22)-The Way(4)

Pondering
Step 3: Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understand Her.
Now comes the hard part: to surrender ourselves into that power that surround us, fills us, is our internal vital core. Dare we “Let go and let God?” The Power of God Itself, that force that created our vast universe out of itself, is ours for the taking. Do we dare? Can we just turn our will over to that Power and let that Power become ours? The Eternal Power of the Eternal Creator is ours for the asking, but we have to ask. We have to let ourselves fall into that power, no holding back, just to let go, let go, let go. Let God. Jesus called this faith “The faith of a mustard seed“.
All of our life we have been told: “Stand on your feet.” and “You can do it by yourself.” These are great sayings, encouraging self-esteem, a critical part of a mature person. We have to do everything in our power to encourage each person, and especially ourselves, to have the courage to call upon the power that lies within us, each of us, to accomplish great things.
Now here I say that to achieve the greatest power, to call a life of abundance to oneself, we have to be willing to surrender ourselves into the care of that power that seems to lie outside of ourselves and let “something else” lead and direct that part of our lives that desires the life-path way.
How do these seemingly contradicting forces within us fit? What gives? At first glance these are two opposite commands.
Not So!
Not So!
Both of these commands, that is to Stand on your own feet, and Do it yourself, fit hand in glove with the call to Surrender to the God of your Understanding. It is only the person who is willing to stand on their own feet, and desiring to empower themselves, can rise to achieve the use of the greatest power that lies within themselves, the power to create Abundance in their lives, to use the power of the Universe to create our Life of Abundance. No outside power is called upon, no, it is the power that lies within the very being of our innate structure that we call forth, for that power that lies within us is the very power of our creation, our Being, our Soul, our Creator and our very Existence, what we have deemed to call our God.
The Power Within
We are made in the “Image and Likeness of God“, as spoken in Genesis 1. The Power of God lies within and forms the universe we see, and the Universe we can not see in our limited physical form. This is the Power we are made “In the image and likeness of”. We have the power of God in a limited fashion, but that power is capable of reshaping our lives, as Jesus spoke, “Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast in the sea,’ and does not doubt in his/her heart, but believes what she/he says is going to happen, it will be granted them. (Mark 11:23). Again, Jesus pointed out the caveat to creating Abundance: “Believes what he/she says is going to happen“. Putting ourselves into the care of that Power opens up the flood gates of God’s Love for us as long as we trust in God, as God only desires good things for us in this life and beyond.
Our innate being is structured within the ‘likeness of God’ that defines who we are. We can not be ‘Made in the Likeness of God’, the All in All, the Alpha and the Omega, without having immense power in and of itself. This is the power each of us wields to create our each and every Now, our perceived universe that we understand is around us. We have this power that shapes our universe, and unless we learn to direct it, it will be assumed into the overall power flow around us, ebbing to and fro as our lives ebb to and fro. But living a Life of Abundance is the method that causes our life to be in resonance with the flow of energies of the universe, and what brings us peace and joy in our lives here and now.
The Quantum Power
Science has said the same thing, using different words and different terms, but the meaning and results are the same. Physics makes it clear that the result of an action is a probability that such-and such will happen, but not a certainty that the expected result will occur. Other energies may intervene to bring about a different result than the result hoped for, for something is not completed until that “Now” occurs and it is an accomplished fact. All the surrounding energies take form each “Now”, and create the result, in “real time”, changing itself to fit all the energies converging in that moment and space, always with that unknown factor that is a result of quantum fluctuation that potentially changes the unchangeable.
Generally, the world is filled with random energies with no central form attached, cancelling out all directives but the most fundamental, resulting in the expected outcome from a given action, unless the quantum fluctuation is exercised. But if we can use our own personal energies, “made in the image of God“, we can truly effect the outcome of the world, essentially the direction and functioning of our life.
The Focus of Power
The key to being able to use our power, the “Likeness of God“, is to be able to place ourselves unwavering in alignment with our souls, the seat of that Power. The Power resides in our soul, for the sole purpose of our use. Our purpose in life is to bring ourselves in alignment with our souls so that we can, indeed, use the Power that lies within. This is why we came into the world, to experience the apparent duality of our physical universe, and to align ourselves with our soul to be able to experience the joy of God here and now, in the paradise we call Life.
“Paradise?” Where did that come from? How can I call this life a Life in Paradise? We see all the horrors around us; war, terrorism, accidents, death, and mayhem. How can I call this Paradise? But what do you think a Life of Abundance is all about? Oh sure, many of the facts of our current life will evolve to a more pleasant form perhaps, but it is truly a change in our perspective on life that changes when we live a Life of Abundance.
When we align ourselves with our soul, we discover whole new facets of life that were always there. but unnoticed. Now these facets come front and center, and we discover all new ways of looking at life.
Life Come Alive
Look at the life of Christopher Reeves. At the height of his box office power, just having played Superman in the movies and earning millions, he had a horse riding accident that severed his spine and left him with extremely limited motion, needing help even to breath. He came back far, but even more amazing was his view, his perspective, on the accident. Shortly before his passing, during an interview when talking about the results to him personally after the accident, he remarked (paraphrasing): “I would not wish this event on my worst enemy, but if this is what it took for me to appreciate life and love, then I would not trade this event for anything.”
What a statement! Despite all the monetary results, fame, and all that went with being a top draw movie star, it took a destructive accident to allow the discovery of the meaning of life that eventually gave meaning to his present existence to bring about his new perspective, and he deemed it worth the problems.
Christopher Reeves discovered Paradise on earth, despite the constant pain and discomfort he was in, just as God intended him to discover, and be the example of resilience that he provided to the rest of humanity.
The God of Our Understanding
The opening step/statement says that we surrender to ‘The God of our Understanding’. At first this seems like a misstatement. For is there not only one God? And is not this God only one Being? And is not this One Being eternal and fixed? Well, according to God discussing Himself/Herself in the Conversation With God books, God is Eternal, true, but always, always, changing. God is never the same from one moment to the next, in fact, time itself does not exist in reality, but only in our limited ability to see the Universe as it truly is. From the Conversation with God books God sees all possibilities with all possible outcomes equally, and the path we choose weaving our life through those infinite possibilities is only one path that we could have taken, and all paths are equal in the eyes of God, some leading to more desirable outcomes (in human eyes, as God sees all paths as being equal) than others.
God exists only in the ever changing moment of Now. The shifting truth of Now exemplifies the changing elements of what we term God, for God is all of these moments at once. All possibilities exist in the realm of the Eternal Spirit, and we live out our life directed by our inner desires, choosing our possibility moment to moment according to our desires deep within us. God is the All in All, as has been often said. This means that our understanding of God, at any moment is but an infinitely small glimpse of the total reality of what we see as God. My understanding of God is different that your understanding of God, and our understanding of God will change throughout our life in this plane of existence and, yes, in the next plane of existence. Notice I said different, neither right or wrong. There is only our understanding of God. As we grow in Love, our understanding will approach more with the higher Reality of the Truth of God, rather than the more limited viewpoint of a primitive tribe, which, by the way, according to Conversation with God, God has observed that the term “primitive” applies to humanity as it now exists. Notice I said “observed”, not “judged”, for God does not judge, but observes if our behavior gets us to where we claim we want to go or not.
So out of the enormity of the Truth of what we call God, my limited ability to understand leads me to a particular understanding of God in this time and place. As time progresses, and if I am faithful to the guidance that The Eternal Wisdom gives me, I will progress into a more clearer understanding of God for my time and place. This changing pattern this growth in understanding and appreciating my God, has been a constant force from my childhood to now, never ending as I grow into my eighties.
One thing I have come to understand: if I am not growing in my understanding of God, evolving to what fills me more and more with the Eternal Wisdom, I am failing, and will understand less than before, and will forget the Truths that have been show me over the decades.
Step 3: Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understand Her.
Meditation
Oh Eternal Wisdom, you lead us further into your knowledge and wisdom as we continue to grow in Your Spirit over the years. You have brought new insights, step by step, and granted us the wisdom to take these insights into our being for the future. Now you are asking us to grow further, to let us surrender into your Guiding Light into the future, assuring us that only Joy and internal Peace will be the result of this adventure. It seems frightening to let go of what we have believed, and to venture into new territory, where our only sure thing we have is Your Word that you will always be with us, and this power that we wish to absorb is ours, has always been ours, and will always be ours. Now we are seeking the ways of putting ourselves in alignment with our soul’s desires, to where peace and joy exist for our asking.
very nice put up, i definitely love this web site, carry on it
Looking forward to reading more. Great article post.Really looking forward to read more. Awesome.
My stepson bohgut a new wireless networking adapter to get better wireless Internet on his PC despite me telling him it wouldn’t work. He truly believed it would work so much he took his time and his money and went and bohgut one. .. Anyway it didn’t work. According to the Law Of Attraction that’s because he didn’t believe it enough ( even though he clearly did ) or that my negative thoughts stopped it manifesting. According to the law of electromagnetic propagation the signal level falls off at a function of the square of the distance from the transmitter and he was too far away, just like I’d established by looking at the signal level indicator sorry Rhonda
